Job DescriptionAs a Sr Program Specialist here at Honeywell, you'll be the operational backbone for building technology projects, including
Building Management Systems, HVAC Controls, Security, CCTV, and Life Safety Systems. You'll expertly navigate the complete project lifecycle, from initial pre-sales and development through delivery and close-out for our ongoing customer and product support initiatives.
You will report directly to our
Sr Program Manager and you'll work out of our
Duluth, GA location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, Your expertise in estimation, contract review, budgeting, and cost controls will be critical in streamlining processes, enhancing performance, and achieving successful outcomes.
ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Managing project charters, risk plans, schedules, and financial targets for successful delivery.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams on scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Review contracts and estimates to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Monitor program performance, budgeting, and cost controls, providing regular updates to stakeholders, including executive leadership.
- Financial forecasting, working capital control, and delivering the committed P&L.
QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE- 5+ years of experience in program or project management experience in building automation systems or data centers or construction, with a focus on estimation, project execution and budgeting.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and projects.
WE VALUE- Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field.
- Experience in managing complex programs in a corporate environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- PMP certifications or State level licenses
- Detail-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
