Full Job Description
About the Role

As a Senior Customer Program Manager, you will lead the post-award execution of complex customer programs for some of Shyft Global Services' largest and most strategic accounts. You will serve as the primary customer contact and own the overall relationship, customer satisfaction, program profitability, contractual commitments, and service-level performance.

Working closely with Sales, the Global Project Management Office, and cross-functional business teams, you will translate contracts, master service agreements, statements of work, and financial models into scalable operational programs. You will establish governance, coordinate implementation, manage risks and escalations, and ensure that customer requirements become clear, actionable plans.

This is a visible, high-impact opportunity for an experienced program management professional who enjoys solving complex business challenges, influencing across teams, and helping global customers achieve meaningful outcomes. You will also have the opportunity to act as a strategic consultant, change leader, subject matter expert, and customer advocate.

What You'll Do
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact and trusted advisor for assigned customers.
  • Lead program implementation and ongoing execution from post-award knowledge transfer through sustained delivery.
  • Interpret and manage contractual obligations across master service agreements, statements of work, service-level agreements, and related program documentation.
  • Own customer program financial management, including profitability tracking, forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting.
  • Monitor service-level agreements, key performance indicators, milestones, risks, and overall program health.
  • Lead regular customer meetings, program reviews, and executive-level business presentations.
  • Partner with customers and internal teams to define workflows, reporting requirements, governance processes, and information flows.
  • Identify root causes, coordinate cross-functional issue resolution, and serve as the customer escalation point.
  • Recognize out-of-scope requests and coordinate requirements for appropriate scoping, pricing, and change-order approval.
  • Apply formal change-control processes when program scope, cost, budget, resources, or timelines are affected.
  • Identify continuous-improvement and cost-saving opportunities that strengthen customer outcomes and program profitability.
  • Maintain accurate program documentation, forecasts, business reviews, SLA reporting, and performance metrics.
  • Build collaborative relationships across Sales, Finance, Legal, Operations, and other supporting functions.

What We're Looking For
  • 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in customer program management, project management, service delivery, account operations, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex customer programs, contracts, financial performance, and service-level commitments.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, including forecasting, profitability analysis, and performance reporting.
  • Ability to translate complex requirements into practical plans, priorities, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
  • Advanced problem-solving, root-cause analysis, risk management, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and build effective relationships across functions, cultures, identities, and organizational levels.
  • Highly organized and able to lead multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Comfortable working independently while maintaining strong communication and accountability.
  • Proficiency with relevant program-management, reporting, and business applications.
  • English proficiency required; additional local or regional language capabilities may be helpful.
  • Ability to travel approximately 50% based on customer and business requirements.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and relevant professional experience will be considered.

Work Environment
  • Onsite
  • On-call availability may be required.
  • Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime based on business and customer needs.

Salary Range Requirement

Actual annual compensation offered for this exempt role will be a minimum annual salary of $105,000 based on several variables including length and depth of work experience, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
