About This Role
As a Senior Program Manager, you will serve as the lead Project Manager for the Raw material strategic sourcing within supply chain. In this role, you will oversee critical strategic sourcing projects from Ideation to completion and drive key initiatives towards operational excellence. You will be directly responsible for developing comprehensive project plans, managing schedules, risks and budgets, and conducting critical path analyses to keep initiatives on track.
A key focus of this position is to manage projects successfully through status reviews, communication to stakeholders and conduct phase gate reviews with leadership. The projects could be new product development or to drive Schedule B projects to maximize cost-savings opportunities and profitability. Balancing technical strategy with execution, you will facilitate resolving project bottlenecks by working with cross functional team and delivering transparent progress reports to leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Develops project plans, schedules, and budgets for business critical projects and suggests appropriate adjustments to ensure adherence to the established project plan, schedule, and budget.
Records and documents delay, changes in scope, and any other incidents that impact the scope of work or schedule to ensure smooth project operations.
Pursues all cost saving opportunities to maximize project profitability.
Performs critical path analysis and prepares and implements work-around plans to ensure the successful completion of projects.
Conducts meetings, consolidates, and presents plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the project(s).
Identifies and reacts to project problems and recommends solutions, such as reallocating resources or changing contractual specifications.
Support operational excellence initiative across the raw material commodities
Required Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
Proven project leadership experience through completing multiple projects cradle-to-grave
Bachelor's degree in engineering or science
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent certification and MBA preferred
Foundation in HVAC and / or large industrial applications
Experience running projects across matrix organization with strong collaboration and influence skills
Strong communication in a global matrix organization w/ stakeholders across engineering, operations, quality, sales, et al
Pay Range
The annual salary for this position is between $117,500.00 - $234,500.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
Other Compensation
Thisposition is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
