We are currently seeking a
Sr. Program Manager, Build Planning. In this role, the Program Manager will lead cross-functional vehicle build planning programs that connect customer demand, production readiness, order-to-vehicle matching, and launch readiness. This role partners closely with Sales, Production, Product, IT, Analytics, and Fleet, to ensure build plans are executable, demand-informed, and aligned to commercial objectives.
The Role- Develop and execute weekly build plans, balancing demand signals with production constraints andcommercial considerations
- Performdaily activities that support order-to-delivery execution, including order matching, management of the 8-week build plan, and vehicle allocation visibility
- Support testing and trainingof new build planning initiatives, along with releasing stakeholder communications.
- Partner with Go-to-Market, Product Marketing, Engineering, IT, Production, and operational stakeholders to support new model year, trim, package, and option launches, ensuring operational systems, configuration codes, UAT testing, documentation, and internal communications are ready prior to launch.
- Attend and contribute to recurring S&OP, Vehicle Programs, and Supply Chain forums to assessimpact to build plan
- Use analytical insights and evolving customer demand patterns to recommend build configurationsandmanage dynamic build plan inputs
- Document end-to-end processes,maintainlaunch and process readiness materials, and ensure relevant stakeholders are aligned on process changes, system enhancements, and operational dependencies.
- Identifyand drive process improvements and system enhancement opportunities that improve order matching, inventory visibility, launch execution, reporting quality, and cross-functional operating rhythm.
- Provide clear status updates, risks, recommendations, and decision points to internal and external stakeholders, including Leadership and cross-functional operational partners.
Qualifications - Proven ability to lead cross-functional programs across Sales, Delivery, Product, IT, Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, Analytics, Fleet, and Leadership stakeholders.
- Experience developing project plans,launchreadiness materials, process documentation, stakeholder communications, and executive-level status updates.
- Strong analytical orientation with the ability to translate demand signals, take-rate forecasts, customer order trends, and production constraints into actionable build planning recommendations.
- Comfort navigating ambiguity, resolving cross-functional dependencies, and creating scalable processes in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through across recurring operating rhythms, launch milestones, testing activities, stakeholder reviews, and issue resolution.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly summarize risks, tradeoffs, dependencies, process changes, and recommendations for both operational and leadership audiences.
- Previousautomotive, manufacturing, vehicle planning, sales operations, production planning, supply chain, program management, or startup experience strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with operational systems, UAT testing, configuration management, Confluence documentation, and launch communication tools is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
Base Pay Range (Annual)
$117,100-$161,040 USD
