You are a Senior Program Manager within the Design & Construction (D&C) Quality Management Team (QMT), part of Global Engineering Services (GES) North America. In this role, you serve as a senior quality program leader, autonomously driving the strategy, development, and execution of quality management programs that span the full D&C project lifecycle across Amazon's logistics network.
You independently own and deliver complex, cross-functional quality programs-from Quality Management System (QMS) implementation to continuous improvement initiatives-with limited oversight. You operate as a trusted advisor to D&C Execution Teams and Regional Leadership, providing strategic guidance on quality frameworks, process optimization, and data-driven decision-making. Your work directly influences how Amazon delivers construction projects at scale.
Your work is approximately 60% tactical and 40% strategic. You develop program roadmaps, lead cross-functional initiatives, make trade-off decisions, and drive organizational alignment across multiple stakeholder groups. You are expected to influence without authority, navigate complex organizational dynamics, and deliver measurable business outcomes through quality programs.
You bring deep expertise in program management, quality systems, and continuous improvement methodologies. You contribute to team strategy, and represent the QMT in senior leadership forums. You are a systems thinker who connects quality outcomes to business value and champions a culture where quality is everyone's job.
This role requires strong executive communication skills, the ability to present complex decisions and trade-offs to Directors and VPs, and a track record of building scalable programs in matrixed organizations.
This position requires approximately 60% travel within North America to support field quality programs, stakeholder engagement, and program governance. You must be available to work from a corporate office when not traveling. Candidates should either live near or be willing to relocate within a reasonable commuting distance of the office. Relocation assistance may be provided.
