We are seeking a Sr. Product Planning Manager who can shape the future of our Biomedical portfolio through innovation, market analysis, and strategic foresight. Our products are critical to the maintenance and performance of medical devices in a healthcare setting. In this role, you will lead with insight-owning the front-end of the innovation process and qualifying investment priorities. You'll identify where the market is going, uncover unmet customer needs, and translate those insights into clear product strategies, prioritized ideas to explore, and scalable growth opportunities. This role is not just about managing products-it's about defining what we should build next and why.

Key Responsibilities Market Insight & Opportunity Identification
  • Lead deep market and competitive analysis to identify whitespace opportunities and growth vectors in core and adjacent markets
  • Own process to synthesize discovery Voice of Customer (VoC), industry trends, and market insights into strategic opportunities to explore.
  • Qualify and prioritize ideas by sizing markets, product ideas, defining customer problems, and estimating levels of desirability, viability, and feasibility


Innovation & Product Strategy
  • Champion a front-end innovation process, from concept ideation through business case validation
  • Develop clear product visions, multi-year roadmaps, and portfolio strategies
  • Define and prioritize high-impact problems worth solving, work with cross functional teams to test prototypes for product-market fit.
  • Build and present business cases including financial modeling and ROI justification
  • Drive new product planning frameworks including segmentation and value proposition design based on customer outcomes
  • Define successful product lines, setting features and requirements priorities that will achieve the expected customer and business outcomes


Product Execution & Portfolio Management
  • Translate product vision and high-level product definitions to executable product requirements for development teams and portfolio product managers to execute
  • Proactively engage portfolio product managers and commercial teams to manage the product lifecycle, converting insights to prioritized core product roadmaps.
  • Establish portfolio prioritization frameworks balancing growth roadmap ideas with core business needs


Qualifications Requirements
  • MBA or equivalent strategic experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of product management or market-focused experience in a B2B technical environment
  • Demonstrated success in driving business growth via innovation, market-driven product planning, and innovation strategy
  • Strong experience with qualitative and quantitative market research methodologies
  • Proven ability to build business cases and influence investment decisions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills


Preferred
  • Experience in biomedical testing, healthcare technology, or radiation safety markets

Pay Range
The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 114,100.00 - 190,500.00
