In this role, you will define the roadmap for S3 Express One Zone - a high-performance storage class used by the most demanding customer applications. You will have the opportunity to own the next phase of innovations in high-performance storage, working backwards from customer requirements and inventing on their behalf.
We are currently looking for a Senior Product Manager - Technical to define new features, feature enhancements, and other solutions for S3's customers. You'll thrive in this role if: You love technology, are able to understand complex systems, and work with technical teams. You are inspired by the idea of building new solutions for customers. And, finally, with your strong ownership bias, you have a persistent desire to improve how things are done.
Candidates must be comfortable facilitating executive-level reviews, diving deep into data, and expressing ideas through writing.
In this position, you'll do these things:
- Develop detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories through frequent and direct contact with customers & partners
- Collaborate with other product managers, software development managers, and engineers to define, execute, and roll-out features
- Bring services/features to market, including running beta programs, collaborating with product marketing, working with industry analysts, etc.
- Present current solutions and the roadmap to customers, including at conferences and executive briefings
- Partner with the leadership team to set the strategy for S3
Utility Computing (UC)

As a member of the UC organization, you'll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of technical product management with internet business experience
- 5+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience
- 3+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience
- Experience in taking a product from conception & definition phase through engineering design and taking it to market
- Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- Experience working within teams delivering software products and features using agile methodologies
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
