About the Team and the Role:

eBay Advertising delivers performance at scale for marketers by employing eBay's global reach, first-party data, and technology platform. We create advertising experiences that drive value for our buyers, sellers, and advertisers while contributing to a multi-billion-dollar advertising business.

The Advertising Product team is reinventing advertising at eBay. We're building innovative ad-tech solutions that improve the advertising experience across eBay, leveraging extensive first-party data and a highly engaged base of logged-in users.

We are looking for a Product Manager to help drive eBay Advertising's Ad Reporting and Measurement capabilities, providing sellers with actionable performance insights that help them grow their businesses.

If you are passionate about product management and energized by the scale, data, and technical complexity of ecommerce and advertising, we'd love to hear from you.

What You Will Accomplish:
  • Own the end-to-end product strategy, vision, goals, and roadmap for your product area.
  • Define a clear and inspiring product North Star and establish measurable goals for success.
  • Develop, prioritize, track, and communicate quarterly product roadmaps.
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog in close partnership with engineering and other cross-functional teams.
  • Drive the development of eBay Advertising's Ad Reporting and Measurement capabilities to provide sellers with meaningful performance insights.
  • Partner across eBay technology teams to identify and streamline cross-functional dependencies.
  • Collaborate closely with Legal, Ad Operations, Finance, Marketing, and other partners to align product strategy, roadmaps, and go-to-market efforts.
  • Build strong alignment across Engineering, Design, Analytics, and Quality to deliver high-quality customer experiences.
  • Balance near-term business and customer needs with longer-term product and technology investments.
  • Use data, customer insights, and business goals to inform product priorities and decisions.
  • Communicate product strategy, progress, results, and recommendations effectively to senior leaders and executives.

What You Will Bring:
  • Proven product management experience with a track record of taking products from ideation and discovery through requirements, prioritization, development, launch, and ongoing optimization.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to break down complex problems and translate insights into clear product strategies and actions.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and deliver results in a fast-paced, highly cross-functional environment.
  • Strong product intuition combined with a customer-first approach.
  • Ability to influence and build alignment across teams without direct authority.
  • Experience partnering effectively with Engineering, Design, Analytics, Marketing, Legal, Operations, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of web technologies, applications, services, and multi-layered system architectures.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and product development processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex product and technical concepts to executive audiences.
  • A willingness to challenge conventional thinking, explore new approaches, and find opportunities to innovate.
  • Experience in digital advertising, ad-tech, reporting and measurement, or ecommerce is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Advanced degree and/or relevant product management certification is a plus.
