Job Description

The Senior Inbound Product Marketer is the strategic backbone of Product Marketing. This role owns market intelligence, client insights, and competitive context that shape product strategy, positioning, and go-to-market decisions. You are obsessed with understanding buyers, markets, and competitors and you know how to turn insight into action.

This is not a passive research role. You influence roadmaps, challenge assumptions, and ensure the business is building the right things for the right audiences.

This is a client-facing role that includes direct engagement with customers through advisory boards, executive conversations, interviews, and attendance at industry or company events as needed.

A day in the life
  • Lead market and competitive intelligence across the product portfolio
  • Own, run, and evolve the win-loss program, including interview design, execution, and synthesis
  • Develop and maintain buyer personas, ICPs, and customer journey maps
  • Partner deeply with Product to influence roadmap priorities, packaging, and differentiation
  • Support client research initiatives, including interviews, surveys, and feedback analysis
  • Be the internal advocate for the customer, ensuring insights are reflected in strategy and messaging
  • Deliver concise, actionable insights to Product, PM, Sales, and Exec teams
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Product, Sales, and Marketing leaders
  • Present insights to executive audiences and drive follow-through
  • Act as a trusted advisor by grounding discussions in data and customer evidence
  • Support evolving priorities and cross-functional initiatives as needed to advance product marketing and business outcomes.

What success looks like
  • Product decisions clearly reflect market and customer insight
  • Competitive narratives are sharp, current, and actually used
  • PMs and leaders proactively seek your perspective
  • Insights don't sit in decks; they show up in roadmaps and GTM plans

We are looking for someone who brings
  • 5-7 years in product marketing, strategy, or market intelligence

  • Demonstrated experience with market analysis, win-loss programs, and competitive research
  • Proven ability to influence product strategy through insight and data
  • Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Excellent presentation and storytelling skills, including executive-level communication
  • Experience owning complex initiatives independently i.e pricing & packaging, new product/market entry research, product advisory boards, etc.
  • Demonstrated leadership through influence (formal people management not required)
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Salesforce, Asana, Klue, Clozd, Gong, Pendo, Claude and Microsoft Co-Pilot
