Amazon Music is looking for a Senior Technical Product Manger to join the Events team within our Community and Fandom org. In this highly visible role, you will own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for an exciting new product area that connects artists and fans through live events.
Specifically, you will be responsible for our end-to-end Ticketing experience, helping people discover and attend live concerts, as well as for the feature set that makes in-app live events (artist-hosted listening sessions, Q&As, etc) delightful and engaging product experiences.
In the process, you will partner deeply with engineering, design, data, and artist-facing teams teams to deliver innovative experiences at scale that make Amazon Music the best place to be a fan. You'll work in a true zero-to-one space that gives you the opportunity to create truly novel experiences that no other streaming provider offers.
A successful candidate will have a strong consumer product sense as well as an ability to manage successful collaboration across technical and business teams. This person should index high on strategic thinking and cross-org influence while insisting on high standards to deliver a polished, impactful customer experience.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 3+ years of end to end product delivery experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
