Join us as a Senior Product Manager, Technical on the AI Studios team within Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios, where you'll shape products at the intersection of AI and cinematic content creation. We are a fast-growing team operating as a startup within Amazon, with direct ownership of studio-level goals and direct visibility to senior leadership.
In this role, you'll own product strategy and delivery for a core area of our platform end to end - defining the vision, setting the roadmap, and shipping capabilities that professional creators love. You'll operate at the intersection of AI and content production, translating the needs of creators and studio partners into a technical roadmap, making the hard prioritization calls, and driving delivery with engineering, science, and design. This is an opportunity for exceptional product managers who want high ownership, autonomy, broad cross-functional influence, and direct impact on how creative professionals adopt AI-powered tools.
Key job responsibilities
As an AI Studios PM-T, you will own a core area of the platform end to end, from strategy through delivery. You will:
• Own end-to-end product strategy for your area - vision, roadmap, and outcomes - grounded in real creator and production needs rather than assumption.
• Translate emerging model and platform capabilities into shippable features that meet the technical, science, and quality bar our creative partners require.
• Write the narratives that define what we build and why - PR/FAQs, PRDs, tenets, and success metrics - and drive them through delivery and QA with Engineering and Science.
• Partner daily with engineering, applied science, and design to sequence and ship a roadmap tied to measurable outcomes.
• Run creator-in-the-loop validation: work directly with creators and studio partners to turn qualitative insight and usage data into roadmap decisions.
• Make build-versus-integrate and prioritization calls under real constraints, balancing near-term delivery needs against building a durable, scalable platform.
• Communicate at the right altitude, from detailed product reviews to executive narratives and live demos, and report progress through our business review mechanisms.
A day in the life
Your morning starts with a cross-functional sync with Engineering, Science, and Creative partners to review progress and unblock a dependency in your area. You jump into a working session with creative partners to pressure-test a workflow against how content actually gets made, then refine requirements that preserve expert control while improving the creative experience. Mid-morning, you run a roadmap review, adjusting sequencing based on a model evaluation result and a shifting deadline. After lunch, you co-spec a capability with engineering, clarify acceptance criteria, and prep an executive-level demo. You wrap by updating success metrics and the plan for tomorrow's build. Throughout, you're operating with high ownership in a fast-moving environment where the technology evolves quickly and real creative work is on the line.
