Job Summary

Pantomath is hiring a Senior Product Manager for Connectors with direct, hands-on data engineering experience to own the strategy and execution of our integrations ecosystem.

This role sits squarely at the intersection of product leadership and data engineering. You will be responsible for defining how Pantomath connects across the modern data stacks- from ingestion and transformation (Fivetran, dbt, Airflow) to cloud warehouses (Snowflake, Databricks) to analytics and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI).

This is not a generalist PM role. To be successful, you must have firsthand experience designing, building, or maintaining data pipelines and integrations and be comfortable engaging deeply with technical architecture, APIs, and performance trade-offs. You will use that experience to set technical direction, write precise requirements, and partner closely with engineering to deliver reliable, scalable, production-grade connectors.

What You'll Do
  • Own the connectors product strategy and roadmap, making informed, technical decisions about which integrations to build.
  • Leverage your data engineering background to evaluate feasibility and long-term maintainability of integrations.
  • Translate customer needs, partner requirements, and technical constraints into clear, detailed PRDs that engineers can execute against without ambiguity.
  • Partner closely with engineering to design, build, test, and ship connectors that meet strict standards for reliability, scalability, observability, and security.
  • Replicate real-world customer data environments and pipelines to validate connector behavior, and ensure production readiness.
  • Define success metrics for connectors (adoption, reliability, latency, error rates) and actively monitor, diagnose, and iterate based on data and feedback.
  • Work with Go-to-Market teams to support launch readiness, technical enablement, and customer-facing documentation.
  • Stay current on trends and best practices across ETL/ELT, APIs, orchestration, data observability, and cloud data platforms to inform roadmap decisions.
  • Advocate for a best-in-class developer and data engineer experience, ensuring integrations are intuitive, discoverable, and easy to operate at scale.

Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)
• Hands-on experience in data engineering, data architecture, or a closely related technical role (e.g., building pipelines, managing integrations, working with production data systems).
• 3+ years of product management experience working on technically complex products such as data platforms, integrations, APIs, or developer-facing tools.
  • Strong, working knowledge of:
    • APIs and SaaS integration patterns
    • Data pipelines and workflows (ETL/ELT)
    • Cloud data warehouses and modern data stacks
  • Proven ability to partner deeply with engineering teams and make informed trade-offs.
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with tools and platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, dbt, Fivetran, Airflow, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Prior ownership of a connector or integrations ecosystem within a SaaS or data product.
  • Familiarity with data observability, lineage, governance, or metadata platforms.
  • Experience in a high-growth SaaS or developer-focused product environment.

Who This Role Is (and Isn't) For

This role is ideal for a PM who:
  • Has actually worked with data systems, not just managed timelines around them
  • Enjoys being close to the technical details and using that depth to drive product decisions
  • This role is not a fit for PMs without a technical or data background.

Pay Range for this role is 124,000 - 182,000
