We are seeking a Sr. Product Manager to join our team. This is a hybrid opportunity based out of our Waltham, MA office.

Job Summary

The Senior Product Manager is responsible for Imprivata's Electronic Prescribing of Controlled Substances (EPCS) product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management. This role ensures the success of the EPCS business area by driving adoption, enhancing customer experience, maintaining compliance and field readiness, aligning partners, and supporting product growth.

This role advances secure, compliant, and low-friction EPCS signing. It requires expertise in enterprise software, healthcare IT, SaaS, identity and access management, clinical workflows, and rapidly evolving security and compliance technologies. The ideal candidate demonstrates success leading cross-functional product initiatives, scaling regulated healthcare products, and aligning customers, partners, field teams, and internal stakeholders around measurable business outcomes.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Own the EPCS product lifecycle, from strategic planning and discovery through delivery, go-to-market execution, adoption, compliance readiness, and ongoing product optimization.
  • Own the product roadmap, investment priorities, and success metrics for EPCS, ensuring alignment with Imprivata's strategy and business objectives.
  • Leverage insights from customers, field teams, support, regulatory bodies, partners, and the market to prioritize roadmap investments, develop business cases, and identify opportunities in new geographies and segments.
  • Partner with Engineering, QA, Security, Compliance, Product Operations, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Support to deliver reliable, scalable, and compliant EPCS solutions and address critical customer issues.
  • Ensure product alignment with key external ecosystem stakeholders, including EHR partners and compliance consultants.
  • Oversee EPCS product, feature, and field readiness, product best practices, competitive positioning, documentation, and enablement materials to support Sales, Sales Operations, Support, Customer Success, and implementation teams.
  • Develop and implement go-to-market plans that align Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Support with product launches, adoption goals, customer migration needs, and growth priorities.
  • Monitor, manage, and report on escalations and key success metrics, including adoption, customer experience, compliance readiness, launch readiness, support trends, clinical workflow impact, and business performance.
  • Experience translating customer, field, support, compliance, partner, and market feedback into clear product requirements, prioritized roadmaps, measurable success metrics, and compelling business cases.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional product initiatives involving Engineering, QA, Security, Compliance, Product Ops, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Support.
  • Experience managing customer escalations, operational readiness, launch readiness, and field enablement for mission-critical enterprise products.
  • Other duties as assigned and required.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in technology, Science or related field.
  • 5+ years' experience as a software product manager.
  • Experience working with both on-premises and SaaS products.
  • Track record of launching successful new products on the market.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and best practices.
  • Proven experience solving problems in innovative ways and turning research into new opportunities.
  • Excellent social, communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal with attention to detail.

  • Experience managing products in highly regulated areas
  • Experience managing mobile products.

This position offers a total compensation range of $160,650.00 to $171,150.00 (inclusive of base salary and variable compensation, such as bonuses and incentives). In addition, more information about Imprivata's benefit offerings can be found here. This range represents the high and low end of Imprivata's compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, such as a candidate's location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
