Your Opportunity

The AS Core Digital Trading and Data Delivery team is responsible for a variety of digital products which provide our advisor community and third-party partners with a series of solutions to support advisors as they manage their client base and their assets.  These services include our Advisor Trading, Third Party Trading, and our Data Delivery program. 

 

The Data Delivery team is responsible for delivering Schwab account data to thousands of institutional clients, hundreds of third‑party vendors, and internal Schwab business units. Each day, the team produces more than two million data files across 100+ formats to meet the diverse needs of our partners. As demand for Schwab account data continues to grow, the team remains focused on providing timely, accurate, and high‑quality data through scalable, resilient technology solutions.

 

 

The Senior Digital Product Manager, Data Delivery (individual contributor role), will lead the design and development efforts on the next‑generation data delivery platform, Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role will drive the development of highly scalable solutions to meet growing demand for Schwab account data, enable cloud‑based data delivery, improve overall data availability, and accelerate time‑to‑market for new and evolving data delivery needs.

 

What you'll do

 

Strategy - Envision the future and build the near-term roadmap for the next generation data delivery platform.Own and drive all aspects required to bring new data delivery capabilities to partners. Serve clients by designing and delivering self-service data customizations and ad-hoc reporting capabilitie. Collaborate with technology, relationship managers, participant integration team and others in delivering value to our clients.

 

  • Lead the product development of Data Delivery Platform and utilization across Schwab’s client-facing and internal channels.
  • Formulate and evolve the platform experience vision, strategy, and roadmap
  • Build strong partnerships with important team members and third parties
  • Champion Agile methodologies, supporting your team members in their roles in daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning sessions, backlog prioritization, user story preparation and demos
  • Work cross-functionally with technical, design, business, and compliance counterparts to define product release requirements and investigate production issues as they arise.
  • Create and maintain key performance metrics to drive the platform to a performant, scalable future state.
  • Create the awareness and engagement for the platform and provide relevant and concise updates to management teams.
  • Be the platform subject matter specialist and evangelist to partners.
  • Think “horizontally” for cross enterprise integration opportunities that would deliver an exceptional experience.
What you have

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (MBA or Master of Science preferred)
  • 5+ years product management experience
  • Strategic problem solver who can formulate compelling vision and strategy and translate that to meaningful roadmaps and results.
  • Solid understanding and experience developing digital platforms, coupled with knowledge of the underlying technology, both current and emerging.
  • Strong ability to translate technology to business partners.
  • Highly organized, outstanding attention to detail, and ability to set and balance to deadlines
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to develop concise and effective communications tailored to specific audiences
  • Experienced knowledge with Microsoft Office Products, specifically PowerPoint and Excel; ability to "tell a story" using Powerpoint
  • Skilled at working cross-functionally with technology, service, marketing and product teams to lead the entire lifecycle of a digital platform.
  • Prior experience as an Agile Product Owner or leading scrum teams with a deep understanding of agile.=
