Ingredion Inc. seeks Sr. Process Engineer in Indianapolis, IN
Job Duties: Provide technical support and leadership to the department to help achieve safety, quality, production, and cost goals. The role involves analyzing process conditions and operational activities using lean principles and recommending corrective actions to improve efficiency and cost effectiveness. Troubleshoot processing equipment and support Operations and Maintenance in improving process reliability through root cause analysis. Supports daily operational activities to ensure production of products that meet required quality and quantity standards. Incorporate Safety, Health, and Environmental compliance requirements into all process improvements and perform assignments in accordance with established engineering standards. Developing, evaluating, and seeking approval for process modifications and optimization programs to enhance plant capability and efficiency; implementing improvement initiatives in collaboration with Operations and Maintenance; and leading or participating in strategic process studies and improvement efforts. Train and mentor operations personnel in process techniques and standard operating procedures, participate in continuous improvement teams across the company network, and provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced engineers.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Biochemistry, Engineering (any field), or a closely related field plus three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Special Skill Requirements: (1) SAP PM Module Knowledge; (2) ISO 22300, ISO 14001, ISO 22001, and ISO 9001; (3) Implement Maintenance and Reliability processes; (4) Manufacturing knowledge; (5) Utilities knowledge; (6) Tribology and Lubrication; (7) Maintenance Budget Control; and (8) Failure Mode and Effect Analysis.
Salary: $87,818.00-153,200.00 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Pay Range:
This pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).
Incentive Compensation:
As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
