In Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) we integrate, verify, and validate our products. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. To accomplish this, we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work hand-in-hand with our customers. What You Will Do:
- Support new business capture phase by defining scope, building customer confidence, and generating proposals in response to incoming RFPs
- Develop Basis of Estimates (BOEs), obtain functional approval, and present at gate reviews
- Author Statements of Work (SOWs) for potential subcontracts
- Manage the concurrent execution of multiple contracts, including customers across multiple continents
- Contribute to IMS creation by providing inputs to the Project Management Office (PMO) for all efforts
- Lead a multidisciplinary team to successfully integrate the Javelin Weapon System into novel platforms including vehicle, robotic, and naval platforms
- Develop test procedures with a strong understanding of test coverage and identification of any potential testing gaps
- Identify, secure funding for, and lead the development of any missing hardware, software, firmware, or simulation integration infrastructure
- Work with tactical Javelin rounds to successfully execute live fire events
- Support live fire events, conduct range surveys, and lead test readiness and flight readiness reviews
- Oversee the entire integration lifecycle, from request for information through contract signing, execution, hardware decommissioning, and project closeout reports
- Collaborate with Global Trade to manage international hardware shipments within complex contractual structures and act as hardware custodian.
- Travel domestically and internationally up to 25%
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience with Supplier Statements of Work (SOW)
- Experience creating Basis of Estimates (BOE)
- Experience with Test Readiness Reviews (TRR), Engineering Safety Review Board (ESRB) reviews, and/or Consent to Ship (CTS) reviews
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- In-depth knowledge of the Javelin Weapon System.
- Expert-level system troubleshooting skills with a proven ability to diagnose issues in the field under limited resources and personnel constraints.
- Possession of an ATF Explosive Possessor License.
- Expertise in leading flight test execution, creating test procedures, conducting range surveys, and capturing test data
- Flexibility to work non-standard hours to accommodate international communications across time zones.
- Proficiency in creating and managing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
