Northrop Grumman Ethics and Compliance is seeking a Training & Awareness Advisor in the company’s Corporate Office. This position plays a critical strategic role in shaping and sustaining Northrop Grumman’s ethical culture, serving as the central hub for all ethics related learning and awareness across the enterprise by translating our values into everyday behaviors. Falls Church, VA or other Northrop Grumman location. Occasional travel is required.

The selected Advisor will partner on the design, development, and delivery of a collection of mandatory and optional employee training. In addition to training, the Advisor partners with Corporate Communications to create monthly ethics and compliance messaging and campaigns, and produces presentations, brochures, and knowledge articles for employees at every level, ensuring all materials are consistently branded, accessible, and culturally relevant.

The successful candidate will report to the Corporate Office Compliance and Ethics Manager and will undertake the following duties and responsibilities:

Training Development & Delivery

  • Lead content creation and coordination for Annual Ethics, New‑Hire Ethics, and New‑Hire Compliance training.

  • Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to build and maintain compliance courses for new hires.

  • Design, develop and coordinate in‑house training (e‑learning modules, micro-learnings, instructor‑led sessions).

  • Collaborate with the Ethics Advisors to coordinate Business Conduct Advisor (BCA) workshops, bootcamps, webinars, and supplemental resources.

  • Prepare ad‑hoc enterprise briefings, leader/manager presentations, and employee resources (brochures, knowledge articles, guides).

  • Successfully deliver e-learning modules via various Learning Management Systems (LMS).

  • Manage LMS enrollment, generate attendance/compliance reports, track key performance indicators (completion rates, knowledge‑check scores, post‑training surveys) and present findings to Ethics leadership, as required.

Awareness, Communication & Campaign Management

  • Partner with the Corporate Communications team to develop an annual ethics and compliance communication plan.

  • Manage and develop ethics and compliance messaging for enterprise syndication, newsletters, and ad-hoc messaging.

  • Partner on other awareness initiatives to promote ethics and integrity in collaboration with the Ethics Offices, BCA Network Advisor, law department, human resources and other key stakeholders

Project & Stakeholder Management

  • Plan, prioritize, and execute multiple overlapping initiatives across global time zones, meeting all delivery deadlines.

  • Maintain a stakeholder matrix; schedule regular check‑ins and clear hand‑offs with Ethics Office, BCA Network Advisor, Communications, and SMEs.

Continuous Improvement

  • Evaluate emerging training technologies (e.g., Articulate 360, Synthesia, micro‑learning platforms) and recommend adoption.

  • Apply metric driven approaches to refine curricula, communication tactics, and overall program effectiveness.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10 Years with Bachelors; 8 Years with Masters; 14 years of experience in lieu of education

  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to craft clear, concise messaging for diverse audiences (executives to front‑line employees).

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work across global time zones.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with multiple demands, outstanding organization and project leadership skills.

  • Exceptional collaboration, and relationship-building skills with an ability to work with multiple stakeholders with a wide range of requirements in an efficient and effective manner.

  • Proficient in MS Office, M365 & Excel, SharePoint, Teams/Zoom

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in corporate training and communication, adult education, and instructional design.

  • Knowledge of Learning Management Systems and training development tools like Articulate 360, Synthesia, or comparable authoring tools.

  • Demonstrated experience applying ADDIE or a comparable instructional‑design framework.

  • Experience using the Kirkpatrick Four-Level Model (or equivalent) to evaluate training effectiveness and translate results into actionable improvements.

  • Ability to analyze metrics to identify trends, measure KPIs, and formulate actionable, data-driven strategies for continuous improvement.

  • Experience supporting an ethics and compliance organization in the government contracting/aerospace industry.

  • Experience leading and developing learning solutions in a digital environment, leveraging nudges, gamification and other modern techniques to enhance the learning experience and improve ROI.

  • Certification in Instructional Design

  • Vendor management, project management experience strongly desired.

Primary Level Salary Range: $106,800.00 - $160,200.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
