Job SummaryThe Senior Portfolio Manager, under supervision of the Regional Manager, shares responsibility for maintaining the physical assets and performance of assigned properties and manages the onsite staff within a portfolio. Will need a diverse skillset to manage both multiple property owner's expectations as well as manage a team of 6-10 direct reports for 500 - 700 units.
Position Details:- Full-Time Salary Position
- Compensation: $80,000-$90,000 salary plus Annual Bonus
- Scattered-site and multi-owner management experience required

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Development:- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of onsite managers, providing strategic oversight to drive high-performing properties and operational excellence.
- Conduct regular coaching sessions to enhance team performance, productivity, and service delivery.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence across the portfolio.
Owner and Client Management:- Oversee day-to-day operations of a large, scattered portfolio, including all aspects of owner relations and resident services.
- Communicate property performance metrics, financial reports, and operational updates to owners in a timely and transparent manner.
- Address owner concerns and implement solutions to meet ownership goals and expectations.
- Identify opportunities to expand the portfolio by fostering long-term partnerships with existing clients and attracting new business.
Portfolio and Property Performance:- Oversee all aspects of property performance, including financial, operational, and resident satisfaction.
- Analyze property budgets, expenses, and revenue, ensuring properties meet or exceed financial goals.
- Collaborate with teams to implement strategies that enhance property value and efficiency, including cost control, tenant retention, and risk mitigation.
- Monitor market trends and recommend adjustments to rental rates, marketing strategies, or property improvements.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or combination of relevant experience.
- 5+ years of experience in property management, with at least 3 years in a leadership or portfolio management role.
- Strong knowledge of property management software (e.g., AppFolio)
- Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and teams.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
