Job Summary:
Leads the development and optimization of complex project schedules to ensure successful and timely project delivery across multiple programs or portfolios. Partners with leadership and diverse cross-functional teams to align advanced planning and scheduling strategies with enterprise-wide priorities and long-range resource planning. Evaluates and synthesizes project performance metrics to identify trends, anticipate high-impact risks, and recommend strategic adjustments for optimal outcomes. Facilitates planning practices, including MAP, pull, and phase planning sessions, and collaborates with the Short Interval Planning (SIP) process to improve workflow reliability and schedule predictability. Integrates visual planning methodologies and model-based workflows to enhance communication, coordination, and predictability across project teams and phases. Champions leading practices in planning and scheduling, driving a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence at the organizational level. Supports organizational planning and scheduling function growth by collaborating across projects, mentoring team members, and fostering a culture of excellence in project planning and scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:
Develops & maintains comprehensive project schedules and visual planning strategies for complex, multi-phase, or enterprise-wide initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic organizational objectives.
Collaborates with project teams, external partners, and other stakeholders to resolve highly complex scheduling challenges and optimize enterprise resource allocation.
Analyzes and synthesizes project data and performance indicators to forecast systemic risks, develop robust mitigation strategies, and drive strategic decision-making.
Communicates schedule status, critical path updates, and potential impacts to executive leadership and key stakeholders with authority and strategic insight.
Ensures enterprise-wide compliance with advanced scheduling standards, methodologies, and documentation requirements.
Leads post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement in planning processes.
Supports MAP and pull planning sessions; provides support for phase planning and Schedule Integration Planning (SIP); prepares schedules and supporting inputs for Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA) and Planning Risk Workshops; and documents the overall planning, sequencing, and risk mitigation approach in a schedule management plan.

Education Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, a related field, or equivalent experience required.

Work Experience:
6 - 8 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, or a related field required.

Certifications and Licenses:
Project Management Professional (PMP) or Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP) certification preferred.
