As a Sr. Program Manager for Strategic Initiatives, you lead high-priority programs from definition through launch. You figure out how a new capability actually works across operations, technology, sales, finance, and support. You write the requirements, build the plan, identify what will go wrong, and hold teams accountable to delivering for shippers.
This role is designed for people who get bored doing the same thing for years. You'll rotate across different problem spaces-international expansion, new delivery models, compliance programs, physical network launches-wherever the business needs dedicated program leadership most. When one initiative reaches steady state, you move to the next. Each assignment demands rapid learning, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to drive results across organizational boundaries.
Key job responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of strategic initiatives, coordinating across product, operations, sales, marketing, finance, legal, and support teams
- Define business requirements and launch plans that identify dependencies, timelines, and ownership across all impacted teams
- Drive solutions across people, process, and technology-building for future scale, not just the immediate use case
- Identify failure modes and edge cases before launch; challenge teams to address them proactively
- Hold stakeholders accountable to delivery commitments; influence for the resources needed to succeed
- Own success metrics and reporting for assigned initiatives; provide leadership with clear visibility into program health
- Transition programs to steady-state owners at operational maturity, then redeploy to the next high-priority initiative
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- Knowledge of general AI tools
