Title: Sr. Operator & Demonstration Specialist - 123440
Onsite/Remote:Onsite Position

Your Responsibilities

As a Training & Demonstration Specialist for John Deere Training Center located in Davenport, IA, you will help dealers, employees, and customers operate John Deere construction equipment with confidence while strengthening the customer and dealer experience through effective training, demonstrations, and product expertise.In addition, you will:

  • Partner with Training teams to develop equipment training content and serve as a subject matter expert for machine operation.
  • Serve as an in-house product consultant across multiple construction machine forms, applications, and customer use cases.
  • Deliver training sessions for employees, dealers, and customers at Davenport, IA; Sacaton, AZ; and dealer locations.
  • Support demonstration site operations, including site readiness, event execution, and customer visits.
  • Manage Training Center inventory across multiple locations.
  • Travel approximately 50% to support dealer training, demonstration sites, and customer engagements

  • Experience in a dealer environment, construction equipment sales, service, or product training role
  • Comfort working in field environments, with the ability to be as effective on a demo site or jobsite as in the classroom
  • Knowledge of the John Deere dealer channel, construction products, markets, and competitors
  • Surveying experience and/or experience with Topcon, Trimble, or Leica systems
  • Hands-on machine operation or on-site construction equipment experience


Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Technical Discipline or equivalent related work experience
