Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5 years minimum experience in a warehouse environment.
• 5 years minimum supervisory experience focusing on leadership and planning.
• Broad knowledge of warehouse operations and management systems.
• Ability to develop reliable bid proposals for warehousing services.
• Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office and applicable software.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Direct personnel to meet operational objectives with a focus on safety and quality.
• Establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for consistency among associates.
• Manage controllable costs and review monthly P&L for budget variances.
• Prepare and disseminate budget and revenue analyses to the VP of Warehousing.
• Develop and maintain a productive work team through effective management practices.
• Assign leadership roles for warehouse sites and oversee reporting processes.
• Track employee performance and apply appropriate disciplinary and motivational techniques.
• Implement safety programs and ensure compliance with all regulations and policies.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and ensure their satisfaction.
• Assist in securing the facility and protecting its assets and personnel.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within warehousing processes.
