What you’ll be doing…You will be leading a team of recruiters to find great talent with the experience and potential to make a difference for our clients. You will be a subject matter expert in Associate/Union Recruiting where you will research, analyze and leverage market intelligence to influence recruiting strategies that support the business and demonstrate our belief that people are our most important asset. You will lead a team that will bring in the next group of talented, driven individuals that make Verizon a great place to work.
Key Responsibilities:
Reviewing business strategies and plans with business leaders to identify current and future talent requirements and trends.
Crafting and implementing recruiting strategies to support the business.
Manage, motivate, inspire and mentor team members, providing regular coaching, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities to drive individual performance and prepare them for future career next steps.
Researching and analyzing market intelligence data that aligns to our skills based hiring initiatives.
Partnering with business leaders to manage expectations and anticipate recruitment challenges and opportunities.
Measuring the on-going effectiveness of recruitment strategies, tracking and sharing metrics with key partners.
Ensuring team compliance with process and standards.
Depending on your existing working model, this role may be hybrid or remote and can be based in any valid Verizon location.
What we’re looking at…You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
Experience as a Talent Acquisition leader.
Experience leading teams supporting Associate/Union recruiting
Experience with leading, managing and developing teams.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
6 or more years of experience with a full recruitment process.
Recruited at an agency or executive search firm.
Exercised effective consulting, influencing, and negotiating skills
A Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management or related field.
In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager. Employees are responsible for maintaining compliance with hybrid work policies.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $101,500.00 - $194,000.00.
