How will you fit into the big picture?

The Senior Manager, Customer Planning leads the development, execution, and continuous improvement of customer and channel planning processes. You will translate commercial strategies into integrated customer plans that align volume, trade investment, customer priorities, and financial objectives. As a key cross-functional partner across Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders, you will strengthen planning rigor, executional excellence, decision-making, business performance, and talent development within the planning organization.

What will you do?

Lead Customer & Channel Planning
  • Develop and execute annual, quarterly, and in-year customer and channel plans that translate commercial strategy into actionable business plans.
  • Align plans across demand, supply, trade investment, and financial objectives to support sustainable growth.

Drive Planning Excellence & Visibility
  • Maintain visibility into customer volume, promotional activity, trade investment, and business performance through effective planning tools, processes, and routines.
  • Advance planning standards, KPIs, governance, and decision-making frameworks that improve transparency, accountability, and execution.

Optimize Trade & Financial Performance
  • Partner with customer teams and commercial leaders to optimize trade investment, revenue growth, and profitability.
  • Monitor performance versus plan, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend actions to improve business results.

Generate Data-Driven Insights
  • Use analytical, financial, and scenario-planning capabilities to evaluate opportunities and support decision-making.
  • Translate forecast, customer, and performance data into actionable insights that improve planning accuracy and outcomes.

Enable Alignment & Continuous Improvement
  • Collaborate across Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and other functions to ensure plans are aligned, executable, and support business priorities.
  • Improve planning processes, tools, and routines to strengthen forecast quality, agility, and decision effectiveness.

Lead Team & Talent Development
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members to build analytical, planning, and commercial capabilities.
  • Foster accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, succession planning, and talent development.


Minimum Education & Requirements

Experience: 7+ years of relevant experience in customer planning, commercial planning, forecasting, trade investment management, finance, sales, or a related discipline. People leadership or team-development experience is required.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $131,280 to $164,100 per year. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of job-related factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skill set, education, and training. In addition to a market-competitive base salary, our Total Rewards package includes performance-based incentives and a comprehensive, competitive benefits package designed to support overall physical, mental, and financial well-being (as applicable).
