The Strategy team sits at the center of that work, helping define where the company plays, how we win, and what the next chapter of growth looks like. As Manager, Strategy, you will combine strategic and analytical thinking with a strong understanding of business dynamics to turn insights into action. You will advise senior executives as a trusted thought partner, communicate clear and compelling viewpoints, and help influence the direction of the enterprise. This is a unique opportunity for someone who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys solving complex business problems.

What will you do?

1. Lead High-Impact Customer Strategy Projects Owns analytical and strategic workstreams that address significant customer opportunities or challenges. Defines project objectives, structures analyses, and coordinates contributions from other SMEs and partners. Delivers clear recommendations that link customer insights to commercial actions and measures success.
2. Develop and Refine Operational Segmentation Approaches Builds and refines segmentation schemes that can be readily used by account teams and planners. Ensures segment definitions, criteria, and outputs are documented and communicated clearly. Evaluates how segments are used in plans and recommends improvements to increase effectiveness.
3. Design Customer-Focused Commercial Recommendations Develops data-based recommendations that inform customer engagement strategies, programs, and account plans. Connects insights on customer behavior, performance, and potential to specific proposals for assortment, investment, and support. Partners with Sales and cross-functional teams to stress-test recommendations for feasibility and impact.
4. Strengthen Commercial Engagement Touchpoints Strengthen the sequence of Sales-led interactions with customers by identifying gaps in commercial engagement touchpoints and recommending changes that improve alignment, program execution, and business outcomes. This includes reviewing engagement steps and materials in major initiatives and identifying where expectations are unclear or inconsistent. Proposes changes to engagement frameworks and tools that enhance the quality and impact of customer conversations.
5. Ensure Consistent Commercial Positioning Within Scope Ensures that commercial narratives and recommendations within their project or portfolio scope align with enterprise and marketing priorities. Reviews presentations, proposal materials, and plan documentation for consistency in positioning and key messages. Provides guidance and edits that help teams communicate a coherent and customer-relevant story in all deliverables.

Minimum Education & Requirements

Experience:
• 5+ years of combined experience in a leading CPG company or strategy consulting firm; CPG experience is strongly preferred.
• Background across multiple disciplines, with emphasis on strategy, finance, marketing, and sales.
• Experience leading strategic and data-driven recommendations and decisions.
• Understanding of market research methods and familiarity with economic, public financial, and syndicated data.
• Experience driving change in a complex business environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Education:
• Bachelor's degree required.
• MBA or equivalent marketplace experience is strongly preferred.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $137600 to $172100 per year. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of job-related factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skill set, education, and training.
