Job Summary

As a Senior Compliance Engineer/Technologist, you will be an integral team member of a critical business function and a rapidly expanding discipline. This role will be responsible for executing complex strategic, proactive enterprise-wide programs to achieve and maintain material compliance with global regulations. This will require regulatory interpretation, data management, documentation, and cross functional coordination for products and materials.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Lead compliance activities related to regulations such as Prop65, REACH, RoHS, TSCA, PFAS
  • Perform advanced BOM analysis and compliance risk assessments
  • Drive lifecycle compliance strategy for new product development and existing products
  • Interpret and apply global regulations to products, components, and suppliers
  • Prepare compliance documentation, reports, and declarations for internal and external use
  • Lead change management for regulatory updates impacting existing product
  • Interface with regulatory agencies, laboratories, and suppliers as a technical expert
  • Develop and improve compliance processes, tools, and documentation systems
  • Mentor compliance engineers and analysts
  • Perform special projects and other duties as needed

Education and Job Knowledge:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental, Chemical, Environmental Science or a closely related discipline; or equivalent in experience
  • 4-8+ years of related work experience in compliance testing, regulatory compliance, sustainability, or environmental science-related field


Travel:
  • < 10%


The starting pay range for Minnesota is $92,000 to $115,000 per year. Individual salaries and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. While individual pay could fall anywhere in the range based on these factors, it is not common to start at the high end or top of the range.

To qualify for this position, former employees must be eligible for rehire, and current employees must be in good standing.
