The Sr Marketing & Communications Specialist is a fully proficient communications professional responsible for executing integrated marketing and corporate communications initiatives that strengthen brand awareness, executive visibility, and market presence. This role independently manages communications projects across public relations, social media, content, and executive communications while partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes. The position exercises sound judgment, adapts communications strategies to evolving business needs, and identifies opportunities to enhance program effectiveness through data-driven recommendations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Support integrated marketing and communications initiatives by coordinating cross-functional stakeholders and aligning deliverables with business objectives.
- Lead press release development by drafting content, managing approvals, and coordinating distribution through appropriate channels.
- Manage award programs by identifying opportunities, preparing submissions, and tracking results to increase brand recognition.
- Develop executive social media strategies by creating/supporting content calendars, drafting posts, and optimizing engagement opportunities.
- Create compelling written content by producing messaging, copy, and promotional materials that support campaigns and thought leadership.
- Analyze media coverage and social performance by maintaining dashboards, evaluating trends, and recommending improvements.
- Coordinate media interviews and speaking opportunities by managing logistics, briefing materials, and stakeholder communications.
- Work direct with vendors that support the Marketing team
- Maintain newsroom and digital communication assets by publishing updates, managing biographies, and ensuring content accuracy.
- Partner with Product Marketing, Brand, Demand Generation, Investor Relations, and Internal Communications by aligning messaging and supporting integrated campaigns.
- Manage editorial calendars and communications project plans by prioritizing deliverables and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Support executive communications initiatives by preparing content and coordinating external visibility opportunities.
- Identify process improvements by evaluating workflows, documenting best practices, and recommending more efficient communications methods.
Recommended Experience & EducationMinimum Years of Experience3-6 years of experience in marketing communications, public relations, corporate communications, social media, or a related communications function with demonstrated success managing integrated communications initiatives independently.
Education LevelBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, Journalism, English, or a related field.

The salary range for this position is: $92,000 - $115,000
