Full Job Description
POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Sr. Manager, Warehouse provides strategic leadership and management oversight for warehouse operations across assigned facilities. This role leads warehouse managers and supervisors, establishes operating standards and KPIs, and ensures safe, accurate, efficient, and cost-effective material flow. The position partners with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Planning, Quality, Project Management, and Logistics to align warehouse resources and performance with business objectives.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead, coach, and develop warehouse managers and supervisors; establish performance expectations and accountability.
  • Develop and execute warehouse strategy, operating standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Establish and manage KPIs for inventory accuracy, material flow, productivity, service, and safety.
  • Align warehouse capacity, staffing, equipment, and storage plans with production and project demand.
  • Align warehouse output to production and module build schedules by managing kitting, staging, and point-of-use delivery to bill of material and work order requirements, and escalating shortages that place module ship dates at risk.
  • Review site performance, identify operational risks, and ensure corrective actions are completed.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, expenditures, variances, and cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Provide governance for inventory control, cycle counting, traceability, ERP accuracy, and data integrity.
  • Ensure a strong safety culture and compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive standardization and continuous improvement through Lean, Kaizen, 5S, and Operational Excellence.
  • Partner with cross-functional leadership to resolve material-flow constraints and support business priorities.
  • Lead warehouse systems, reporting, technology, and process-improvement initiatives.
  • Develop staffing, succession, cross-training, and leadership-development plans.
  • Manage third-party warehouse, storage, transportation, and service-provider performance as applicable.
  • Any other duties assigned by TAS.


JOB SKILLS:
  • Strong leadership, coaching, organizational development, and change-management skills.
  • Ability to manage and develop managers, supervisors, and warehouse teams.
  • Advanced knowledge of manufacturing warehouse operations, inventory control, and material flow.
  • Ability to define and analyze KPIs and use data to drive decisions and corrective actions.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and resource planning.
  • Advanced working knowledge of ERP/WMS systems, including LN, reporting tools, and data analysis.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional leadership skills.


EDUCATION & TRAINING:
  • B.A./B.S. in business, logistics, operations, supply chain, or similar degree
  • Leadership, continuous improvement, inventory management, and supply chain training preferred


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • 6+ years of progressive warehouse or supply chain management experience, including leadership of managers and/or supervisors
  • 6+ years of related manufacturing, factory, or industrial operations experience
  • Must have a good command of the English language, both written and verbal
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse ERP/WMS systems, reporting tools, data analysis, and Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated experience managing inventory performance, KPIs, budgets, staffing, and continuous improvement


PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
  • C.P.M., C.P.I.M., Lean/Six Sigma, or other relevant supply chain/operations certification preferred


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Position is at least 80% to 95% at a desk working with computer. Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Performs other physical activities including use of fingers, sitting, stooping, bending, crouching, talking, hearing and performing repetitive motions. Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception and field of vision necessary to prepare and analyze data and figures, operate a computer terminal, and conduct extensive reading. The incumbent will be subject to inside environmental conditions.
