Full Job Description
Our Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Tax Manager, reporting to the VP of Tax, to lead the US domestic and international tax compliance, worldwide income tax provision and reporting function. This position will interface with personnel at various levels of the Company including regional finance teams as well as external partners. Primary responsibilities include actively managing computation of quarterly and year-end US income tax provisions and effective tax rate as well as related income tax disclosures in our consolidated financial statements. This position will also play a key role in supporting international tax processes including transfer pricing, compliance, reporting, forecasting, tax planning, audits by governmental authorities, and process improvements. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and analytical skills, strong organizational and communication skills, and be detail-oriented and hands-on.

Location:
Remote opportunity in the United States - central time zone preferred.

You'll make an impact by being responsible for:
  • Preparation of quarterly and annual income tax provisions (ASC 740), including effective tax rate analysis, deferred tax calculations, income taxes payable, and uncertain tax positions.
  • Prepare US international tax calculations including but not limited to FTC, GILTI, FDII, and BEAT; review of US international compliance forms prepared by third party services firms
  • Monitor global status of income tax return preparation and ensure return-to-provision calculations are prepared timely and accurately.
  • Oversee global tax accounting processes and ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during financial statement audits and coordinate responses to audit inquiries.
  • Provide technical tax accounting guidance on complex transactions, including M&A, restructurings, and new business initiatives.
  • Ensure tax accounting of APB 23 is properly recorded in partnership with international tax team
  • Partner with regional tax teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in global tax reporting.
  • Monitor changes in tax laws and accounting standards, assess their impact, and implement necessary changes.
  • Develop and maintain tax accounting policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Support leadership with tax-related insights and strategic planning.


You will be a great fit if you have:
  • 8+ years of relevant experience, including public accounting and/or industry experience
  • BA/BS degree required, CPA, and/or Masters in Taxation preferred but not required
  • Solid understanding of US federal and state income tax law as well as international and indirect tax
  • Self-starter with strong quantitative and analytical skills with an ability to quickly bridge technical requirements, conceptualize and define workflows and to innovate and enhance processes
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and complete projects in a growing and fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of personnel, across functions, organizations and with external contacts
  • Ability to work independently
  • The individual must have the highest standards of integrity, business controls and practices
  • High proficiency in excel, tax research software and tools
  • Workday accounting system knowledge experience a plus


The base salary range for this position is $160,000 - $170,000 a year. The base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors. This position is also eligible for an executive bonus plan, equity and a full range of medical and other benefits.
