About the role:

As a Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing (Fixed Term), you will play a key leadership role in shaping how the organization partners with suppliers, manages third-party risk, and drives value across the enterprise. You will lead strategic procurement initiatives, influence high-impact decisions, and act as a trusted advisor to business, technology, legal, and risk teams.

This role offers the opportunity to own a critical vendor portfolio, elevate procurement excellence, and help build a collaborative, high-performing sourcing function within a regulated financial services environment.
  • Lead enterprise-level strategic sourcing initiatives, from category strategy and market analysis through supplier selection, negotiation, and contract award.
  • Develop and execute category and sourcing strategies that optimize total cost of ownership, manage risk, and support business priorities.
  • Design and lead competitive sourcing and RFP processes, including evaluation frameworks and executive-ready recommendations.
  • Serve as a hands-on practitioner, with the ability to read, interpret, draft, and materially edit complex commercial contracts to safeguard the Company.
  • Negotiate complex, high-value supplier agreements, applying strong commercial judgment and balancing value, risk, and operational considerations.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on sourcing options, supplier trade-offs, and commercial decision-making.
  • Oversee sourcing-related vendor onboarding, due diligence, and B-10 contract assessments as part of an integrated sourcing strategy.
  • Identify and drive cost-saving and value-creation opportunities, tracking benefits across the life of supplier agreements.
  • Coach and mentor team members and stakeholders on strategic sourcing methodologies and negotiation best practices, fostering a continuous improvement mindset.


What we are looking for:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience). MBa would be an asset.
  • 8-10+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, contract management, or vendor management.
  • Experience in financial services or a regulated industry is an asset.
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills, with sound judgment in assessing risk, value, and business impact.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and work effectively across business, legal, technology, and risk teams.

What you can expect - pay & process:
  • Expected base salary range is $95,000 - $115,000 , plus the opportunity to earn an annual incentive bonus tied to performance.
