Responsibilities

Summary: The Sr Manager, Software Development will build and manage a high performing, collaborative, and inclusive team to achieve diverse objectives in replicable, scalable ways. This position will develop and execute a strategy that focuses on effective and efficient designs, test and resilience processes, integration across dependent software and service components, improve common frameworks, tooling, and reuse where applicable. The incumbent will ensure alignment with controls, procedures, and tooling which support our desire to deliver a world-class set of services in a predictable manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage a high performing, collaborative, and inclusive team.
  • Develop and execute a strategy that focuses on effective and efficient designs, test and resilience processes, integration across dependent software and service components, improve common frameworks, tooling, and reuse where applicable.
  • Lead teams that deliver on multiple projects
  • Ensure alignment with controls, procedures, and tooling which support our desire to deliver a world-class set of services in a predictable manner.
  • Review system requirements and business processes; code, test, debug, and implement software solutions.
  • Prioritize, plan, and track project progress.
  • Involved in direct planning of long- and short-term infrastructure improvement projects, including design, budgeting, and implementation.
  • Manage teams to achieve diverse objectives in replicable, scalable ways.
  • May include other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education, Licensure and Professional Certification requirements: Bachelors degree highly preferred

Minimum Experience required(number of years necessary to perform role): 6+ years of experience required working as a software, service, and/or site reliability engineer, 4+ years of experience recruiting and managing technical teams, including performance management, 4+ years of experience in Engineering Program Management.

Other/State Specific

This role pays between $145kto $185k, and your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, responsibilities, experience, and location.
