Job Summary
Lead and manage multiple product development projects, programs and initiatives, overseeing the design, development, and launch of innovative solutions in Vial & Central Solutions within Pharmacy Automation business. Drive technical excellence and strategic direction for product development initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor a team of product development engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance.
* Define and execute product development strategies in alignment with business objectives and market needs.
* Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept generation and feasibility studies to design, development, verification, validation, and commercialization.
* Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure successful and on-time project delivery.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, and Manufacturing teams.
* Ensure compliance with relevant compliance regulations (e.g., ISO 13485) and internal quality systems.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives in product development processes, tools, and methodologies.
* Identify and evaluate new technologies and intellectual property opportunities relevant to product portfolio expansion.
* Present project status, technical insights, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
* Act as a high-level technical strategist and provide guidance on complex engineering challenges.
Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Biomedical, Electrical, or related field) required; Master's degree preferred.
* Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in electromechanical product development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
* Proven track record of successfully launching complex devices and solutions into the market.
* Strong understanding of compliance regulations (e.g. ISO 13485) and design control principles.
* Expertise in various engineering disciplines relevant to device design (e.g., mechanical design, electronics, software/firmware).
* Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing engineering teams.
* Excellent project management skills, including experience with project planning, budgeting, and risk management.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
* Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
