The Sr Manager, Operations Lead the CFD and Overheat production areas across a three-shift operation, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with company standards. Manage supervisors and team leads, drive operational performance through data-driven decision-making, and support continuous improvement, problem-solving, scheduling, and inventory management to achieve business objectives.
What You Will Do:
Lead CFD and Overheat areas across a three-shift production schedule
Ensure cell-level compliance with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) practices
Drive decisions using data and results
Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate a belief that challenges can be overcome
Demonstrate eagerness to learn and gain experience
Adhere to and promote the Avionics Operating Guidelines
Manage supervisors and group leads across multiple cells
Provide leadership to team members through mentoring, coaching, and performance management
Set day-to-day operational objectives for the team
Lead implementation, problem-solving, root cause analysis, and corrective action activities
Ensure procedures and work instructions are followed within assigned cells
Manage cost reduction and process improvement initiatives to drive operational efficiency and cost effectiveness
Support scheduling activities to ensure business goals are achieved
Coordinate materials and logistics issue resolution activities
Identify issues proactively and drive them to closure with minimal oversight
Manage Kanban stocking levels and ensure alignment with business objectives
Monitor and improve department performance and productivity
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
10 years of specialized knowledge of technical or operations practices
Qualifications We Prefer:

Aerospace industry experience
SAP experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Change management experience
Ability to lead teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
