Full Job Description
Position: Sr Manager, Operations - AMZ10854.12

Location: Pflugerville, TX

Multiple Positions Available:

1. Responsible for all aspects of operation or functions at the site, including managing and leading a team of Operations and Area Managers, coaching and mentoring the team to ensure performance objectives are met, building positive employee relations and building leadership bench strength within the Fulfillment Center.

2. Drive creation of quality initiatives, process change initiatives and other Lean initiatives to enable their functional area and ultimately the FC to meet and exceed business plan

3. Responsible for the overall safety, quality and performance and customer experience of either Inbound or Outbound operations

4. Set and clarify requirements and expectations for Operations and Area Managers.

5. Measure performance, provide feedback, and hold Ops Managers accountable for their performance and the performance of their departments

6. Leverage the Operations and Area Managers by sourcing and nurturing ideas, and rolling them into the creation of improvement plans for the functional area

7. Take proactive steps to ensure that best practices are shared across all departments, shifts and among the network; and Work closely with support staff (HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT and other Senior Operations Managers) to build and secure support and resources for projects and initiatives in their area, as well as providing needed support and resources for other staff initiatives.

8. Domestic or international travel up to 30% to perform role responsibilities may be required

(40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $143582 - $182700)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations or a related field followed by 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Experience must include:

1) 3 years of management experience, including a salaried workforce, in a manufacturing, production or distribution environment.

2) 3 years of experience with performance metrics, process

improvement and Lean techniques

3) 3 years of experience with the full staffing lifecycle, including interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions and termination

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
