A Day in the Life of a Sr. Manager of Analytics & Knowledge Management
  • Lead and mentor a business intelligence team: The Sr. Manager is responsible for leading and mentoring a team of business intelligence development professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead Knowledge Management: The Sr. Manager is responsible to ensure the organization "knows what we know," leading with vision to ensure Solis' data-driven culture is supported with an effective scaffolding of navigability, accessibility, trust, and consume-ability.
  • Manage BI technologies and platforms: The Sr. Manager is responsible for managing the organization's business intelligence and data stewardship platforms, maintaining and monitoring the analytic product ecosystem for quality and business value, and driving initiatives to address any issues or gaps, as well as overseeing the effective administration of our BI platform and our centralized data catalog and staying current on emerging trends and technologies that would advance our mission as a team.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: In partnership with other data leaders, the Sr. Manager is responsible for engaging a wide range of internal stakeholders across business domains to understand business needs, develop the appropriate product-based roadmaps, and develop appropriate training programs and materials to support stakeholders in using the organization's data and analytic products effectively.
  • Participate in the development of AI governance frameworks and responsible use of AI: The Sr. Manager is responsible for collaborating with IT, Analytics, and leadership to guide the organization towards responsible AI development and deployment.
