The Impact You'll Make

As the Senior Manager of our Dirty Model Shop, you'll lead a team of skilled makers and technicians in delivering flawless prototypes and production-quality models. You'll oversee every stage of the build process - from digital file preparation to final paint finish - ensuring that each piece meets exacting standards for accuracy, durability, and aesthetics. Your leadership will keep the shop efficient, safe, and innovative.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee daily operations focused on 3D printing, resin casting, blister vacuum forming, and spray painting/finishing.


  • Manage and mentor a team of fabrication specialists, ensuring skill development and consistent quality.


  • Coordinate project schedules, resource allocation, and workflow to meet deadlines without compromising standards.


  • Maintain and enforce safety protocols, equipment maintenance, and material handling best practices.


  • Collaborate with designers and engineers to optimize designs for manufacturability and finishing.


  • Oversee procurement and inventory of resins, silicones, paints, and consumables.


  • Implement process improvements to enhance precision, efficiency, and finish quality.


  • Manage the shop budget, including materials, labor, and equipment investments.
