We are searching for the best talent for Sr. Manager, MedTech Q&C Communications to join our MedTech Quality Organization located in Irvine, CA or New Brunswick, NJ.

As the Senior Manager, MedTech Quality Communications, you will play an important role in driving our communication strategies for the quality function of our MedTech business. This is a critical position where you will join a high-performing team and collaborate with cross-functional partners to lead the development of quality-related communications to help protect and enhance company reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the VP, MedTech Quality Transformation Office, this role will lead the management and execution of our MedTech quality-related communications. This will include, but not limited to:
  • Lead the development of quality-related communication messaging and materials to help protect and enhance company reputation.
  • Collaborate with teams from different businesses, regions, and functions to elevate our quality story and effectively convey important information to key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner closely and support our MedTech Chief Quality Officer on strategic speaking engagements and external communications.
  • Work with global Quality and Communications leaders for day-to-day management and coordination related to quality-related opportunities, issues, milestones, and audits.
  • Ensure consistency in communications approach across MedTech and maintain knowledge of all quality communications.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape for quality issues and advancements as well as potential risk and policy actions.
  • Compete in a fast-paced environment to ensure timely delivery of all communication materials.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • Proven track record of at least 8 years in a communications or public relations role, preferably in the healthcare or MedTech industry.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft impactful messages for different audiences.
  • Strong understanding of the MedTech landscape and the ability to translate complex scientific concepts into compelling communications.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Change management expertise, with the ability to address organizational change challenges.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, fostering a cooperative work environment.
  • Ambitious and self-motivated, with a passion for driving innovation and positive change in the healthcare industry.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.

Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$122,000.00 - $212,750.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation -120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado -48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington -56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays -13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Parental Leave - 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

Bereavement Leave - 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year

Caregiver Leave - 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days

Volunteer Leave - 32 hours per calendar year

Military Spouse Time-Off - 80 hours per calendar year
