Quince is seeking a highly analytical and operationally minded
Sr Manager, Materials Planning to support material procurement and sourcing across our global manufacturing and supplier network. This role plays a critical part in ensuring alignment between sourcing strategies, production capabilities, and operational goals.
The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in supply chain concepts, a collaborative mindset, and a desire to grow into increasing levels of ownership and impact.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Support material procurement and sourcing activities across Quince's manufacturing and supply base
- Partner with internal teams and external suppliers to align sourcing strategies with production capacity and operational priorities
- Evaluate supplier performance across quality, reliability, and operational metrics; identify risks and improvement opportunities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Planning, Merchandising, and Sourcing teams to support execution, decision-making, and performance visibility
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance planning efficiency, supplier performance, and overall value creation
- Support reporting and analytics to inform procurement decisions and operational performance
REQUIREMENTS:- Foundational understanding of supply chain concepts, including procurement, inventory management, sourcing, and manufacturing operations
- Experience or comfort working with analytics and reporting tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
YEAR ONE DELIVERABLES - Material In-Stock Rate > 95%: Ensure consistent material availability to support production and minimize disruptions
- Weeks of Supply (WOS): Maintain optimal inventory levels by balancing availability with working capital efficiency
- Lead Time Accuracy > 90%: Improve and stabilize supplier and material lead times to support planning accuracy and responsiveness
- Forecast Accuracy > 80%: Partner with cross-functional teams to improve demand and material forecast accuracy
All posted ranges are reflective of base salary and may vary depending upon experience level and location. Bonus and equity may also be provided for eligible roles.
Pay Range
$137,000-$185,000 USD
