Your role:
As a member of Baxter's Infusion Systems Marketing team, you will lead the commercialization and growth strategy for Baxter's digital infusion ecosystem, including IQ Enterprise, EMR Interoperability, PeerVue, DeviceVue, IQ Guardian, and future digital innovations across the Spectrum IQ and Novum IQ platforms.
This role is responsible for driving market adoption, customer engagement, commercial execution, and portfolio growth through digital solutions that enhance patient safety, workflow efficiency, data visibility, and interoperability. The position will serve as the commercial leader connecting customer needs, portfolio strategy, sales execution, and launch readiness to maximize the value of Baxter's connected infusion platform.
Success will require strong cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, R&D, Medical Affairs, Digital Applications, Service, Regulatory, and regional teams to accelerate digital adoption, support installed-base retention, and strengthen Baxter's competitive position in infusion systems.
What you'll be doing:
Commercial Strategy & Growth
- Lead downstream marketing strategy for Baxter's infusion systems digital portfolio, including IQ Enterprise, interoperability solutions, analytics applications, and future connected care innovations.
- Develop and execute growth plans that drive adoption, utilization, and retention of digital solutions across Baxter's installed infusion pump base.
- Identify opportunities to increase digital attach rates and recurring software revenue through customer segmentation, value-based messaging, and portfolio expansion strategies.
- Partner with global marketing teams to align strategies with local commercial priorities.
Customer Engagement & Insights
- Serve as the voice of the customer by gathering insights from clinicians, pharmacy leaders, informatics teams, biomedical engineering, and executive stakeholders.
- Translate market and customer insights into actionable strategies, value propositions, and commercial programs.
- Support Voice of Customer initiatives and customer advisory activities to inform product enhancements and future digital offerings.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, healthcare technology advancements, and interoperability developments to identify growth opportunities.
Commercialization & Launch Excellence
- Lead commercialization planning and launch execution for new digital capabilities across the infusion systems portfolio.
- Develop customer-facing positioning, messaging, campaigns, collateral, and sales enablement tools that clearly communicate value and differentiation.
- Partner with Sales Enablement to ensure launch readiness and successful field adoption.
- Support major customer deployments, reference sites, and key strategic account activities that demonstrate the value of Baxter's connected infusion ecosystem.
Evidence Generation & Value Communication
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Clinical teams, and Health Economics stakeholders to build evidence that supports digital solution adoption.
- Develop value propositions and business cases that demonstrate clinical, operational, workflow, and financial outcomes.
- Support conference strategies, customer presentations, thought leadership initiatives, and market education efforts.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner closely with Global Marketing, R&D, Digital Applications, Product Management, Regulatory, Quality, Service, and commercial teams to align product development priorities with market needs.
- Work with regional sales leadership to identify barriers to adoption and implement programs that accelerate pipeline conversion.
- Foster strong collaboration across global and regional stakeholders to ensure successful execution of growth initiatives.
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Healthcare Administration, Engineering, Clinical Sciences, Information Technology, or related field required.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare technology, medical devices, infusion systems, connected care solutions, or digital health strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of experience supporting commercial field organizations and large-scale product introductions preferred.
- Demonstrated success in downstream marketing, commercialization, product launches, portfolio management, or market development.
- Experience commercializing connected devices, software solutions, interoperability technologies, analytics platforms, or healthcare IT offerings preferred.
- Strong strategic thinking, market assessment, and business case development skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical and clinical capabilities into compelling customer value propositions.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and lead initiatives in a matrixed organization.
- Strong communication, presentation, and executive engagement skills.
- Knowledge of hospital purchasing processes, clinical workflows, healthcare technology ecosystems, and digital transformation trends preferred.

The estimated base salary for this position is $144,00.00 to $198,000.00 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
