Sr Manager, Marketing Experience & UX Design

Job Description:

We are seeking a Sr Manager ofMarketing Experience and UX Designto lead the complete redesign of our marketing digital experience. You will lead asmallteam of UX designers in creating modern, innovative experiences that position Thomson Reuters as a leader in AI and technology whilemaintainingbrand coherence across our marketing sites. This role is critical to transforming how we build—enabling faster delivery through AI-driven design systems, templatized components, and streamlined workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic vision for marketing digital experience redesign, defining design systems andestablishingcomponentarchitecture

  • Manage and mentor theManager IUX Designerteam, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning

  • Oversee creation of core templatized experiences that drive consistency, speed, and scalability across all marketing web deliverables

  • Direct development of distinctive brand-forward experiences thatshowcaseThomson Reuters' leadership in AI and innovation, working closely with marketing and brand teams

  • Champion the integration of AI-native tools and Claude-based design solutions to streamline workflows, accelerate design velocity, and enable faster time-to-market

  • Collaborate with optimization teams to test, measure, and iterate on design solutions based on user feedback and performance data

  • Partner with the enterprise UX team toestablishdesign governance and best practices, ensuring alignment with design systems while allowing flexibility for brand-forward experiences

  • Partner with product management, engineering, and marketing stakeholders to translate design vision into implementation

  • Set operationalobjectives, priorities, and work plans for the UX design functionand remove roadblocks to keep design execution on pace with delivery timelines

  • Own schedule and resourcing commitments for design deliverables; manage against budget where applicable

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of UX/UI design experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role

  • Provenexpertisein designing andmaintainingdesign systems at scale

  • Advancedproficiencywith Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (XD, Illustrator, Photoshop), Adobe Firefly, and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)

  • Hands-on experience with AI-native design tools and AI-assisted design workflows

  • Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, responsive design principles)

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with product, engineering, and marketing

  • Demonstrated success building and leading high-performing design teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing marketing or B2B digital experiences

  • Proficient with Claude API or Claude-based integrations for design workflows

  • Knowledge of design accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices

  • Experience with A/B testing, user research methodologies, and data-driven design decisions

  • Experience with synthetic audience research to inform design and content strategy

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations. For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $127,400 USD - $236,600 USD. For Ontario, Canada, the base compensation range for this role is $132,800 CAD - $182,800 CAD. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individuals knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
