Pharm Transcend is a global business transformation program that will modernize our foundational transactional processes and harmonize them into one clean ERP as a standardized platform for growth and efficiency gains. The program will simplify the Pharm ERP landscape from 7 to 1, standardizing processes to have a cost effective, fit for purpose digital backbone that will enable us to support the Pharm business with agility. Additionally, the program will remediate the end-of-life system exposure that we risk towards the end of this decade.

As part of the Pharm Transcend Program, we are looking for a strong technology leader that can drive the implementation of Supply Chain Process Automation solutions in SAP BTP. The Sr. Manager Platform Automation will be an active member of the IM Supply Chain JJT team, designing the Process automation within Innovative Medicine of ERP Technology solutions in the scope of Value Chain & Supply Chain Processes.

Key Responsibilities:

This role will take ownership to design, build & deploy a multi-level Advanced Intercompany solution that will automate end-to-end Supply Chain & Intercompany processes to get visibility into Innovative Medicine Value Chains. Key understanding of SC process archetype (e.g. Toll Manufacturing, Intercompany Sales, Intercompany Stock Transfer, Drop Shipment Process, Customer and Supplier Consignment Process, Customer and Supplier Consignment Process, Returns Management etc.) must drive success to this role.

Roadmap & Backlog Management (25%)
  • Define and lead the strategic vision and prioritize new technical features and enhancements within the Automation capabilities, ensuring alignment with business needs across global IM Product flows and non-Intercompany Supply Chain automation projects.
  • Lead the end-to-end execution and delivery of initiatives, encompassing design, development, deployment, and ongoing operational support to maximize business value for IM Transcend.
  • Balance business value propositions with technical feasibility, optimizing cost efficiency and streamlining delivery processes.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners and Business partners to prioritize backlogs, lead platform constraints, resolve cross-team dependencies, and be responsible for demand intake processes as necessary.
Solution Design & Implementation (25%)
  • Take accountability for the design and implementation of automation solutions within the Pharma Supply Chain ERP platform, ensuring robustness and scalability.
  • Drive standardization of business processes and develop strategic solutions that exemplify best practices.
  • Ensure all capabilities align with the SAP product roadmap, incorporating industry standards and future-proofing investments.
  • Actively engage with business and functional teams in providing the best fit technical solutions while aligning to Transcend program design and implementation standards
  • Provide technical leadership in architecture, particularly in designing ERP solutions that facilitate seamless integrations across end-to-end intercompany flows, including integration technologies.
Delivery and Value Realization (25%)
  • Be responsible for the technical delivery process, ensuring solutions are implemented effectively and deliver measurable business value in partnership with the business workstream lead.
  • Oversee the integrated build process with technical teams, ensuring compliance, functionality, and performance meet design specifications.
  • Manage planning and execution of system testing phases, including supporting business teams in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Ensure adherence to compliance standards, maintaining up-to-date SDLC documentation, system configurations, and validation activities.
  • Continuously assess and measure solution capabilities against demand volume, complexity, and evolving business challenges to drive ongoing improvements within the value streams.
Leadership and Team Collaboration (25%)
  • Serve as the JJT workstream lead for all Value Chain & Supply Chain Automation initiatives, forging strong partnerships with business stakeholders.
  • Lead and motivate an international, cross-regional project team through all project phasesfrom design to deployment.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment by coaching, inspiring, and providing strategic direction to ensure the successful delivery of project objectives.
  • Demonstrate excellent organization, time-management, and communication skillsboth written and verbalto influence stakeholders across all organizational levels.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelors degree
  • Preferred Area of Study: Information Technology, Supply Chain, Finance
Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • 10 years in Supply Chain Technology
  • Strong knowledge of Advanced Intercompany Process
  • 5 years proven track record of implementing SAP ECC, S/4 HANA systems.
  • 3+ years of People Management
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Domain Expertise

  • Deep End-to-End understanding of Financial and Logistical Flows in multinational operations and how vertical functions integrate with one another (Plan, Make, Deliver, Logistics, Finance, Tax).
  • Solid Understanding of SAP-ERP integration across Production Planning, Materials Management, Sales & Distribution and Financial Accounting and System Integration with the ERP ecosystem. Applied knowledge of S/4 HANA is preferred.
  • Experience in Pharmaceuticals/Healthcare industry and good Knowledge of SOX & GxP compliance regulations.
  • Experience with Agile methodology and strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle Management model and documentation.
