The Sr. Manager for Intelligence & Analysis is a critical role for developing and delivering Open-Source intelligence capabilities to support LA28's Safety & Security program and the broader organization. This role will drive the stand-up of a robust tactical and strategic intelligence monitoring and assessment capability to empower increased awareness, response, and intelligence-driven decision making. This role ensures timely, relevant, and accurate intelligence is integrated into safety & security operations and risk mitigation strategies across the organization.
The role will be responsible for developing and delivering capabilities for improved domain awareness and data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate is an experienced intelligence professional with a strong background-including both public and private sector experience-using tools and performing analysis of locally impactful incidents (such as natural disasters, localized disruptions, crime) as well as strategic analysis of domestic and global situations and trends with potential to impact the organization, its office, and/or its people-including business travelers domestically and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:Strategic & Tactical Intelligence Analysis and Oversight- Develop and lead the pre-Games intelligence and analysis strategy for LA28's safety & security team.
- Oversee the development and implementation of intelligence collection, analysis and dissemination.
- Brief LA28 leadership, stakeholders, and employees (when relevant) via written documents, email communication, and/or verbal briefings.
Threat Monitoring, Assessment & Analysis - Use all available information and resources to detect, monitor and assess potential threats or emerging risks of all types - to include weather events, civil unrest, crime, etc.
- Assess the marketplace for available tools and additional information sources and make recommendations to inform scope and budget for additional program build-out.
- Utilize LA28's emergency mass communications platform to push out time-sensitive emergency messaging.
- Support crisis management efforts by providing timely analysis and critical contextual information related to unfolding events.
Relationships with Private & Public Sector Partners - Foster relationships and information-sharing with public and private sector partners, including but not limited to regional Fusion centers (JRIC, OCIAC) and Government public-private sector partnership organizations (DSAC, OSAC, and other].
- Benchmark other intelligence leaders and peers across relevant industries and government.
- Liaise with intelligence agencies, law enforcement and other partners for information-sharing and threat assessment.
Develop and Grow Capabilities - Partner with other functional area leadership on needs assessments and growth plans in line with the evolving requirements of the organization.
- Assess and recommend additional intelligence-related capabilities whether through in-house growth or outsourced services.
Communications & Stakeholder Engagement - Prepare executive-level communications, including presentation decks, strategic updates, and other reports.
- Contribute to internal and external communications related to safety & security.
- Represent the Safety & Security business function in cross-organizational meetings and forums, as needed.
Background & Qualifications:- 7+ years of experience in intelligence analysis or a related field.
- Background or experience in public and/or private sector safety & security (and ideally both).
- Experience in standing-up new capabilities based on best-practice and applying proven analytic techniques.
- Proven experience in distilling voluminous or complex information into crystalized insights and actionable information.
- Experience working in fast-paced environments, start-ups/growth environments.
- Experience applying structured analytic techniques (in a government and/or private sector security context)
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:- The position is in Los Angeles with in-person attendance required.
- The majority of work will be conducted in an office setting, requiring extended periods of time using computers, phones, and other office equipment.
- The LA28 office is an open floorplan working environment; employees must be able to work efficiently in an open cubicle environment.
- Occasional travel to venues during the planning phase.
Education:- Bachelor's degree required.

Submission Requirements:The annual base salary range for this position is $
105,000-$140,000. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28's operational business needs and applicable law.
