Full Job Description
As the Senior Manager, Global Chemical Compliance, you will lead Micron's global chemical compliance program and team. You will define and implement the strategy, governance, standards, and systems that support the safe, compliant, and sustainable use of chemicals across Micron's operations and products. This role works closely with collaborators across manufacturing, technology development, product compliance, procurement, legal, facilities, supply chain, sustainability, and site EHS organizations to drive compliance, strengthen chemical data governance, and advance digital and AI-enabled capabilities that improve decision-making and operational effectiveness.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and continuously improve Micron's global chemical compliance strategy, standards, governance framework, and business processes.
  • Establish program priorities, objectives, metrics, and roadmaps that align regulatory requirements with business goals and growth strategies.
  • Lead, mentor and develop an international team responsible for chemical compliance programs, systems, and performance.
  • Monitor emerging chemical regulations and assess potential impacts to operations, products, and supply chains.
  • Translate regulatory requirements into scalable global standards, procedures, controls, and implementation plans.
  • Drive chemical risk management activities, including audits, assessments, corrective actions, and regulatory readiness initiatives.
  • Partner with cross-functional collaborators to strengthen compliance programs, supplier engagement, and chemical information management.
  • Advance digital, automation, analytics, and responsible AI capabilities that improve chemical governance, data visibility, and operational efficiency.


Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Environmental Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in chemical compliance, chemical management, product stewardship, environmental compliance, EHSS, sustainability, or a related field.
  • Validated leadership experience leading people, global programs, or complex cross-functional initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence collaborators across functions, regions, and organizational levels while driving measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to support global operations and travel internationally as required.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree or Ph.D. or equivalent experience in a relevant technical field.
  • Experience in the semiconductor industry or another highly regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with enterprise chemical management systems, chemical data governance, and regulatory compliance technologies.
  • Experience applying analytics, automation, digital solutions, or responsible AI to improve compliance processes, decision-making, and operational performance.


The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$121,000.00 - $266,000.00 a year

Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
