Purpose and Scope
Responsible for Facilities at International Headquarters including day-to-day management, regular maintenance, core building services such as security, cleaning, landscaping, as well as managing a multi-year facility upgrade project. Provides regular guidance and oversight to the Facilities team in providing a clean, safe, and well-maintained Headquarters' building. The focus is to minimize interruptions for all staff and ensure the headquarters building is an environment conducive to all staff fulfilling their responsibilities.
Essential Job Functions
Facilities day-to-day management:
• Ensures the Headquarters building and grounds are regularly maintained and operating at the most effective level possible.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and fire regulations.
• Manage security systems, access control, and emergency preparedness plans. Works with various vendors and negotiate contracts to protect the interests of The Gideons International.
• Work with Building Services Coordinator on budget preparation and monthly monitoring.
• Serves as liaison to local corporate park governance committee.
• Assist in the acquisition of Headquarters-provided transportation and living arrangements for select staff as dictated by defined circumstances.
• Conduct regular RFPs for key support contracts including security, housekeeping, and landscaping, among others.
• Derive optimal plan for facility maintenance contracts considering multi-year maintenance contracts vs. Time and Materials (T&M) contracts based on equipment age, cost trends, and market pricing.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, contracts, inspections, and regulatory compliance.
Facilities upgrade project:
• Manage and execute the planned facility upgrade project on-time and on-budget.
• Ensure key stakeholders are consulted and feedback is incorporated into the final approved upgrade plan.
• Solicit and review request for proposal (RFP) submissions with goal of identifying the optimal vendors based on price, quality, and performance.
• Minimize disruption to employees as the upgrade plan is executed by ensuring clear communications, adequate advanced notice to planned changes, adequate facilities, and tools for teams whose work areas are being impacted .
• Provide regular updates to Senior Leadership Team, Leadership Team, Portfolio Management Team, and other key stakeholders.
Hospitality, Front Desk and Heritage Center:
• Ensure staffing of front desk personnel.
• Maintain a clean, friendly, and welcoming environment for guests and visitors.
• Oversees the International Headquarters hospitality function, in conjunction with Department Heads, to ensure building guests are accommodated in terms of appropriate badging, escorts, meeting arrangements, meals and tours of the Heritage Center.
Other duties:
• Participate in daily morning staff devotions. Serve by praying and reading Scripture in support of devotion leaders on a rotating basis.
• Other supporting duties as needs arise.

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree (Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration or related fields preferred)
• Proven experience in facilities management or property management.
• Knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and health and safety regulations.
• Familiarity with The Gideons International Camp activities preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility management software.
• Successful completion of a drug and background screen
