As a Senior Manager, Manufacturing Engineering, you will play a critical leadership role in driving manufacturing excellence, supporting new product introductions, and helping deliver life-saving medical products with quality, efficiency, and innovation at the center of everything we do.

What You9ll Be Doing
- Lead and develop a team with varied strengths of manufacturing engineers and technicians, supporting a collaborative, inclusive, and achievement-focused culture.
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to support team growth and engagement.
- Partner with senior leadership to define and implement the engineering roadmap supporting SKF products and manufacturing operations.
- Oversee the design, implementation, optimization, and transfer of manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
- Improve productivity, reduce waste, enhance product quality, and support operational efficiency initiatives.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies to identify and implement sustainable process improvements.
- Lead multiple engineering projects that span multi-functional areas from concept through implementation.
- Develop project timelines, resource plans, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful execution.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with quality and compliance requirements.
- Partner closely with R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, and Operations teams to align manufacturing strategies with business objectives.
- Serve as a key liaison between Manufacturing Engineering and members of multi-functional teams to support effective communication and project alignment.
- Support compliance with FDA, ISO, cGMP, and Baxter quality standards across manufacturing operations.
- Conduct process reviews, audits, and performance evaluations to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and compliance enhancement.
- Champion a strong culture of quality, safety, and operational excellence..
- Manage engineering-related budgets and resource allocation to maximize operational performance and return on investment.
- Monitor key performance metrics and communicate project updates, business results, and improvement opportunities to leadership.
- Build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and customers.
- Promote Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) compliance and proactively contribute to Baxter9s commitment to zero harm in the workplace.
- Stay informed on emerging manufacturing technologies and industry trends to support innovation and best-practice implementation.
What You9ll Bring
- Bachelor9s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering field. Master9s degree experience in Engineering or related field.
- 8+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, preferably within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry.
- Demonstrated success leading engineering teams and managing complex manufacturing or process improvement projects.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, quality systems, and regulated environments.
- Knowledge of FDA, ISO, cGMP, and regulated manufacturing environments.
- Strong leadership and people development skills
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication and partner management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement mindset
- Strong collaboration and multi-functional partnership skills.
- PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or other project/process improvement certifications.
- Experience with CAD software, simulation tools, and manufacturing data analysis.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The salary range for this position is $152,000 - $167,200. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
