Job Description:
Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. The Sr. Manager, Energy Mgmt. / Utilities is a strategic and operational leader responsible for the safe, compliant, andcost-effectivedelivery of utilities and energy systems supporting manufacturing, laboratory, and commercial operations. This role has a direct impact on operational continuity, sustainability performance, cost optimization, and regulatory compliance.
This position leads energy strategy, utilities operations, and capital planning while advancing decarbonization, reliability, and resilience initiatives across the New Brunswick campus.
Leadsitewideenergy management and utilities operations, including electricity, steam, chilled water, compressed air, natural gas, and water systems.
Partnerand develop amultidisciplinaryteamof engineers, technicians, and external service providers, ensuringstrong performancemanagement and talent development.
Ensure full compliance withenvironmental, safety, and regulatory standards(EPA, OSHA,stateand local authorities).
Serve as the primarytechnical and strategic partnerto site leadershipteams, manufacturing, EHS, and sustainability stakeholders.
Overseethirdpartyutility providers and contractors, including contract negotiations, performance metrics, and service delivery.
Required:Bachelors degree in Engineering(Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Energy Engineering, or relatedfield).
Preferred:Masters degree in Engineering, Energy Management, Sustainability, or Business Administration (MBA).
810 yearsof progressive experience inenergy management, utilities, facilities engineering, or industrial infrastructure, includingpeopleleadership responsibilities.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$122,000.00 - $212,750.00

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Companys consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation 120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado 48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington 56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays 13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
