JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Senior Distribution Manager provides strategic and operational leadership across multiple distribution locations. This role drives safety, service performance, operational excellence, employee development and continuous improvement while fostering a positive culture aligned with Trex values.
They are responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing processes and strategies across all their respective operations, which include material handling, co-packing, kitting, warehousing, order fulfillment, inventory control, and fleet maintenance.

Operational Leadership
- Lead distribution operations across multiple facilities to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective execution of SQDC business objectives (shipping accuracy, service levels, inventory accuracy, cost)
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, quality, service levels, and operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and company policies while maintaining a strong focus on employee well-being and operational excellence.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, OpEx, Manufacturing, R&D, Packaging, and Marketing to align distribution strategies that support business goals and business growth
- Coordinate with Transportation Manager on site needs, carrier performance, contracts, and rate structures.
- Support oversight of Fleet maintenance operations and assist in management of transportation assets.
- Exercise leadership authority over staffing, performance management, and operational execution across multiple sites.
- Oversee the distribution-related operations for their respective locations of responsibility in Arkansas, Nevada, and Virginia, including:
- Decking yards
- Warehouses (distribution center with kitting/co-pack, materials warehouse, offsite storage)
- Fleet maintenance

EXPERIENCEWe are looking for leaders with a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field, 10+ years of experience in distribution, logistics, or supply chain, and 7+ years of leadership/supervisory experience.
Required Skills & Experience- Proven ability to lead large, multi-site operational teams
- Strong communication and change management skills
- Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities
- Experience with ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Skills & Experience- Experience with Labor Management Systems
- Experience with Yard Management Systems
- Background in high-volume distribution environments
SALARYBase Salary Range: $135,000-$160,000 annually
The salary range provided serves as a general guideline for potential compensation for this position. It reflects the base salary and does not account for other benefits or additional compensation opportunities that may apply. This role is also eligible for further compensation through an annual/sales bonus, in addition to the base salary.
