Manage deposit and transactions by developing and maintaining a comprehensive roadmap to build competitive, profitable deposit products that support the member experience. Develop a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for deposit products including product acquisition, retention, engagement, and multi-product. Responsible for competitive intelligence, member experience improvement, and product reporting.
Essential Responsibilities- Own consumer deposit product suite as governed by regulations, terms, conditions, and financial value
- Develop robust product roadmaps designed to provide financial value to members and attract new members
- Seek and develop opportunities to improve member experience and reduce friction
- Assess marketplace competition around product offerings, pricing, and experience. Create product pricing strategies based on competitive analysis, costs, and balance sheet and present to leadership for alignment
- Identify opportunities for product revisions and for new products based on market input and competitive assessments. Develop product specifications and identify required resources for development
- Partner with other areas such as plastic card operations to ensure operational excellence and expected member debit & payment experience
- Partner with other teams such as marketing to develop and execute deposit and member growth marketing campaigns. Ensure disclosures and marketing materials are compliant with relevant regulations
- Provide ongoing monthly and annual reporting and analysis for the portfolio
- Prioritize a backlog of deposit product enhancements against member feedback and market conditions
- Maximize financial performance of the deposits and new member growth
- Develop annual business plan direction for deposits and assigned
- Maintain a current knowledge of changing legislation and regulatory climate and recommend changes to products and services
- Plan, oversee and lead the work of the team to meet functional and individual operational objectives and goals. Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities. Responsible for hire, fire, performance, discipline and problem-resolution decisions
Education & Years of Experience- Minimum- 4 Year Bachelors Degree in Marketing or Related
- Preferred - Graduate Degree in Marketing or Related
- Minimum - 7 Years Marketing, product management or related
- Minimum - 3 Years People Management
- Preferred - 3 Years Deposit product management
In Lieu of Education- 10 Years Marketing, product management, deposit product management including people management
Compensation & Benefits:Typical hiring range: $133,700.00 to $229,200.00 Annually. Actual compensation will be determined using factors such as experience, skills & knowledge.
