Responsibilities

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the ongoing optimization of demand planning software and tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Partner with the Business Operations teams to ensure planning software is updated with the latest customer, product, and channel segment information; ensure timely and accurate data uploads and table management.
  • Analyze historical shipment, depletion, and offtake data to generate demand forecasts for various product categories and channels.
  • Develop SKU level forecasts at customer and channel level inclusive of any promotional planning, lifts and new item launches.
  • Assist in developing the Demand Plan, which serves as the foundation for creating the Supply Plan in the S&OP process.
  • Build dashboards to monitor and report on key performance indicators, such as forecast accuracy and bias.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve forecasting models, tools, and processes to enhance forecast accuracy and minimize bias.
  • Identify and communicate risks and opportunities related to the demand plan and propose mitigation actions.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and operations teams to align demand plans with business objectives and customer expectations.
  • Provide demand content for monthly S&OP meetings and participate in demand review sessions and other cross-functional forums to present and validate demand plans and assumptions.
  • Develop and nurture trusted relationships with cross-functional partners in sales, marketing, finance, and operations.

Qualifications
  • 4-7 years' experience in supply chain operations or demand planning
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration in Business discipline or in Supply Chain or Statistics
  • Strong analytical skills including experience using a statistical demand planning software
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel including Power BI, Power Point, Sigma, Power Query & Power Pivot
  • Experience within Fast-Moving Consumer Goods industry (FMCG), specifically within food, salty snacks, category
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences
  • Fundamental knowledge of Supply Chain networks and various customer routes to markets
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity
