Full Job Description
The Sr Manager - Creative Services Ops serves as the primary relationship owner, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction and translating business needs into actionable plans. Operating within our internal creative agency, this role bridges the gap between creative vision and real-world execution. The position requires an individual who deeply understands what it takes to bring a creative program to life and can champion the work across the organization. Partnering closely with the Creative Director and senior leadership, this person will scale a growing body of work-ensuring creative intent is protected, timelines are grounded in reality, and every touchpoint reflects the brand at its best.

Responsibilities include managing the intake of creative briefs, as well as the planning and delivery of design assets, UX research, digital and print advertising, and other creative projects for Verisign's UX and Creative Services team. Driven by a forward-looking mindset, this position requires anticipating roadblocks, planning for future capacity, and applying foundational operational skills to recognize what to look out for from day one. This individual owns all key updates, timelines, and project recaps to keep teams aligned. Additionally, they oversee quality assurance - ensuring all deliverables sent to client teams include the appropriate context for review, accurately reflect business feedback, and are free of errors. As the primary liaison for internal clients, this position ensures stakeholders are looped into milestones, meet deadlines for content and approvals, and stay informed if shifting priorities or changing requirements impact timelines.

Other key responsibilities
  • Owns end-to-end project scopes, timelines, budgets, and risk assessments to ensure total transparency, accountability, and on-time delivery across a portfolio of simultaneous projects. Drives scoping and team readiness, ensuring projects are clearly defined before resourcing, while actively managing day-to-day team workflows and staffing plans. As a key collaborator, partners on agency strategy, supporting the sourcing and scaling of relationships with internal stakeholders. Interfaces directly with internal and external clients to manage expectations, define project scope, and ensure long-term satisfaction.
  • Serves as a strategic account lead for cross-functional partners and MPC stakeholders to build and maintain strong working relationships. Ensures proper brief intake and follow-through so that design intent is delivered with fidelity, purpose, and strategic alignment. Ensures total synchronization across project briefs, client expectations, and milestones. Interfaces directly with partners to gather and flesh out project requirements, ensuring the creative team has the comprehensive context needed to execute effectively.
  • Acts as a connector across creative, strategy, production, media, agency, and client-facing teams to ensure nothing falls through the cracks. Facilitates stakeholder alignment across departments, making sure creative work directly supports broader campaign and business initiative goals. Elevates internal operations through the ongoing evaluation and refinement of workflows, systems, and production practices to optimize efficiency across the organization.
  • Manages multiple tasks and fast-paced projects in parallel and ensures that creative team members are on track to deliver as promised. Assists Director in capacity planning and timeline management for large projects.
  • Quality Assurance: Reviews all creative deliverables before stakeholder distribution to ensure they accurately reflect business feedback, carry the appropriate context for review, and are free of errors.

Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in marketing or product/project management, a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years of related marketing experience
  • Experience managing others
  • Experience with creative operations or account management within an advertising agency or internal corporate creative studio
  • Ability to prepare comprehensive project requirement documentation
  • Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies; experience with JIRA
  • Ability to lead relationships with cross-functional internal business clients, managing expectations, interpreting distinct business requirements, and resolving friction seamlessly
  • Proven skills in project management of creative and design projects and background participating in large cross-functional teams, ensuring that projects and changes get developed according to specification and schedule
  • Ability to influence and gain consensus within organizations including across multiple business units to move projects forward
  • Strong operational instincts with a forward-looking mindset-capable of anticipating project bottlenecks, mitigating delivery risks, and planning around capacity hurdles

This position is based in our Reston, VA office and offers a hybrid work schedule.

The pay range is $135,800 - $183,800.

The anticipated annual base salary range for these positions is noted above, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience. Verisign offers a discretionary bonus which is based on individual and company performance, and certain roles may be eligible for discretionary stock awards.
